ABOUT THE DESIGN OF STARBUCKS SYDNEY ICON MUG

Starbucks Sydney Icon Mug front design features the Sydney Harbor Bridge.

The Harbor Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbor that connects Sydney central business district and the North Shore.

The dramatic view of the bridge – the harbor – and the nearby Sydney Opera House is an iconic image of both Sydney and Australia. The bridge is nicknamed “The Coathanger” because of its arch-based design. Formally opened in 1932. Since 1998 it is possible for tourists to climb the southern half of the bridge to see beauty of city panorama.

Famous as a start place of Sydney-Hobart Yacht race – widely considered to be one of the most difficult yacht races in the world.

Sydney Icon Mug is one of the 5 Icon Mug designs in Australia. It is still available in Starbucks stores. The Sydney Icon Mug is Made in China (MIC).  There is no Made in Thailand (MIT) version.
